You bring your Drake Tax license. We deliver the secure workplace where it runs: cloud desktops, shared files, backups and security operated day to day. Most firms are live within one week.
What is included, end to end
One monthly price per seat covers the infrastructure, the Microsoft license for each seat, the operation and the support. Your Drake license stays yours, renewed with Drake as always.
Windows desktops in enterprise data centers in the United States, with the CPU, memory and disk that Drake Tax needs during peak season. Scaled up in January, scaled down in May.
Drake Tax Pro installed and activated with your license, state modules included, and the new version set up season after season before filing opens. Prior years stay available for amendments.
Business email in your domain, a personal drive for each preparer, shared client folders with version history, and chat, calls and meetings for the office. Everything under the same sign-in.
Every preparer signs in with multi-factor authentication. Unknown devices and countries are blocked. Seasonal staff are added and removed in minutes.
Nightly backups of the Drake database and client files, kept for 30 days and tested. If a preparer deletes a return or a laptop is stolen, nothing is lost.
Local printers, scanners and signature pads redirected into the cloud desktop. Dual monitors supported. Printing a return feels exactly like it does today.

Firm price before anything moves
After a short assessment you get the monthly price per seat in writing. Setup and migration are included, so there is no surprise invoice in March.
Migration without downtime
We build the cloud office alongside your current setup, move the data, verify it, and only then switch. The old server is not touched until you sign off.
Seasonal by design
Add preparers in December, remove them in May. Capacity and cost follow the calendar of a tax office, not the calendar of a data center.
